The firm has also designed Continuing Care Retirement Communities, most notably Galloway Ridge at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Student housing is a growing project segment for Winks Snowa given the firm’s extensive multifamily experience. To date the firm has designed several student housing projects, including housing for Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and Richard Bland Community College in Petersburg, Virginia. Notable among the firm’s other educational projects is the design for the John G. Wood School for the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls in Richmond, Virginia.

Winks Snowa Architects has a diverse commercial portfolio. Work includes showroom buildings, retail structures, medical and corporate office facilities, warehouses and major adaptive reuse projects. The firm office is located at the edge of historic Church Hill in Richmond, Virginia in an adaptive reuse of a former warehouse structure.

Winks Snowa has designed a number of religious facilities, most notably additions and renovations to existing churches, including St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Richmond, Virginia.

Winks Snowa designed the Duke University Center for Living, a fitness center serving the residents of the Galloway Ridge at Fearrington Village Continuing Care Retirement Community in Pittsboro, North Carolina. The firm has also designed a Health Evaluation Center to be located in Williamsburg, Virginia as well as designs for several fitness clubs.
